Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has unveiled two new academic programmes for the 2025-26 academic year: a Master's in political science and a Doctor of Literature (D.Litt). The announcement was made on Thursday by the university's vice-chancellor, Anu Singh Lather, during a press conference.
The university also released its admission brochure for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, offering 1,123 undergraduate and 1,491 postgraduate seats this year. Emphasizing an inclusive and affordable education model, Lather highlighted the university's commitment to not charging fees for SC, ST, or PwD students, thanks to full government funding.
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP), AUD focuses on experiential learning, with students engaging in fieldwork at sites like Rakhigarhi, Haryana. The D.Litt programme is notable for recognizing significant contributions in literature, humanities, social sciences, and design as an earned academic degree.
