The Karnataka State Child Welfare Organization has launched an ambitious Vocational Training Scheme for 2025, aiming to uplift economically disadvantaged young girls and women from both rural and urban areas. The initiative is a beacon of hope for those looking to acquire vocational skills.
According to a press release from the Karnataka government, the program is open to women aged 17 to 35 who have either passed or failed their SSLC/PUC exams. The deadline for applications is May 31. Successful candidates will be eligible for positions as pre-school teachers in various educational and childcare settings.
The comprehensive 10-month training kicks off on June 10 at the Balasevika Training Centre in Jayamahal Layout, Bengaluru. Participants will benefit from free training, accommodation, and food, along with special scholarships, making it accessible to those in financial need.
