The Delhi government has unveiled detailed guidelines for admissions into its newly announced CM SHRI Schools, set to redefine public education. The entrance test, scheduled for 2025, aims to select students for classes 6-8 across 33 of these 75 designated institutions.
These schools, inspired by the National Education Policy 2020, seek to offer innovative learning environments with advanced infrastructure, including AI-enabled libraries and virtual reality tools. The initiative is committed to sustainability, promising zero-waste, solar-powered campuses.
Eligibility rules state that students from Delhi-based recognized schools can apply. The test will be objective, bilingual, and cover multiple disciplines. With the application window opening on July 30, the move marks a significant step towards future-ready education in India's capital.
