Odisha Teacher Exam Scandal: Key Arrest Made in OTET 2025 Leak
Another arrest has been made in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 question paper leak case. Prasant Kumar Khamari, a school teacher, was caught for allegedly being involved in the scandal. He conspired with others to leak the paper, enticing and selling it to candidates.

In a significant development, Odisha Police have apprehended another suspect in connection with the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2025 question paper leak case, bringing the total number of arrests to seven, officials revealed on Friday.
The latest suspect, Prasant Kumar Khamari, a government upper primary school teacher from Bhejipadar in Bhawanipatna, was taken into custody in Kalahandi district. According to the crime branch, Khamari played a pivotal role in leaking the question papers for the Special OTET-2025, which was scheduled for July 20, and distributed the papers on social media.
Investigations show Khamari collaborated with key figures, including Bijay Kumar Mishra and Sanatan Bisoi, to execute the leak. He allegedly sold the papers to unsuccessful candidates from the previous OTET exams, subsequently transferring funds to Mishra. Authorities have confiscated Khamari's mobile and gathered handwriting samples for further evidence.
