Dr Naba Kumar Bezbaruah Appointed Dean at TRIHMS

Dr. Naba Kumar Bezbaruah has been appointed as the new Dean of the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in Naharlagun, according to a state government announcement.

The appointment was confirmed at a recent departmental promotion committee (DPC) meeting, where it was decided that Dr. Bezbaruah will oversee the academic management and supervision of TRIHMS. However, administrative and financial powers will remain with the State Health and Family Welfare Secretary.

The elevation of Dr. Bezbaruah follows the untimely death of previous Dean and Principal, Professor Dr. Shyamal Bhattacharya. The official order, signed by Health & Family Welfare Commissioner Pawan Kumar Sain, received the Governor's approval.
