Empowering Uttar Pradesh: Women’s Health Campaign Launched

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has unveiled the 'Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan', an ambitious health campaign marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday. The initiative features 20,324 health camps throughout the state, aiming to transform women's health into a widespread movement.
During the fortnight-long campaign, women will receive free screenings and treatments for various health issues, including diabetes, anaemia, and cancer. Community health centers and medical colleges have been mobilized to provide comprehensive care, while blood donation drives and Anganwadi centers are set to bolster public participation.
This effort is part of a broader push for female empowerment, inspired by PM Modi's vision for a developed India. Adityanath emphasized the state's achievements under this vision, including improved maternal and infant health metrics, showcasing the campaign's role in fostering a healthier, more self-reliant society.
