NIT-Hamirpur and IIT-Bombay Forge Academic Partnership

The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur, has entered a strategic partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, by signing a memorandum of understanding. This agreement aims to provide NIT-Hamirpur students with access to advanced facilities and research possibilities.
According to a statement released on Friday, up to five outstanding students from selected engineering programs at NIT-Hamirpur will complete their final year of study at IIT-Bombay. The agreement, signed on Thursday evening, was attended by NIT director H M Suryavanshi and IIT-Bombay's Dean of International Relations, Sudarshan Kumar.
The collaboration is hailed as a significant milestone for NIT-Hamirpur, poised to offer students world-class experience and prepare them for global competition. Dean (Academics) at NIT-Hamirpur, Siddharth Sharma, highlighted the opportunity for students to experience diverse learning environments, enriching their academic horizons.
