A tragedy unfolded in Shimla's Annadale area as a student was found dead, having allegedly taken his own life following an exam failure. The incident took place in his rented home, where his body was discovered by a friend prompting police intervention.
The deceased student's father claimed his son was under immense mental pressure after receiving his Class 12 exam results, which led to his drastic decision. After receiving the distress call, police authorities swiftly arrived at the scene to recover the body.
The case has been confirmed by Senior Superintendent of Police Shimla, Gaurav Singh, who noted that a formal investigation has been initiated to delve deeper into the circumstances of this unfortunate event.
