Bihar's Education Minister, Mithilesh Kumar Tiwari, has spoken out against the protests led by female teaching job aspirants, emphasizing the government's unwavering support for their rights.
Despite the minister's remarks, a significant number of BPSC Teacher Recruitment Exam candidates demonstrated in Patna due to delays in exam notifications. The recruitment exam, essential for filling more than 46,000 teaching positions, has been pushed beyond its initial deadline of April 2026.
Amidst concerns of police baton-charge on women protesters, Tiwari maintained that there was no need for such agitation, affirming the government's commitment to women's empowerment and aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's support for 'Nari Shakti Vandan'.
