NEET-UG Re-exam Rescheduled Amid Allegations

The NEET-UG entrance exam, previously marred by allegations of irregularities, is set to be re-conducted on June 21, as confirmed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday.
Initially held on May 3, the exam had been cancelled, prompting the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to launch a thorough inquiry into the allegations. The NTA, with the Government of India's consent, scheduled the re-examination for June 21, 2026.
The decision was announced following a high-level meeting on Thursday evening, led by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, to ensure the smooth re-conduct of the examination.
