NEET Paper Leak Scandal Unravels: Calls for Probe Mount

On Friday, Rajasthan Congress leaders called for an in-depth investigation into alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 and 2025 exams. The recent arrest of several individuals, including BJP-affiliated Dinesh Biwal, unveiled a wider examination racket, as Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra revealed accusations of leaked papers granting admissions in medical colleges.

Dotasra disclosed that children from Biwal's family obtained admission to government MBBS colleges through leaked question papers, despite previously failing the 2024 exams. The scandal prompted skepticism among the authorities, with demands for a comprehensive Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe to uncover truths obscured by the BJP government.

The persistent leaking of examination papers, involving key political figures, led to increasing pressure on the national education framework. Opposing leaders demanded accountability from the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, and questioned the delay in registering formal complaints, raising concerns about the effectiveness of India's National Testing Agency.
