Himachal Pradesh is accelerating the development of Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day Boarding Schools, as directed by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The initiative aims to establish at least one school in each assembly constituency, particularly targeting remote regions, a government statement highlighted.
These institutions will provide complete education from pre-primary level to class 12, featuring modern amenities such as smart classrooms, playgrounds, indoor stadiums, and swimming pools. Additionally, the government is working on filling teaching positions promptly to prevent any disruptions in academic activities due to a lack of staff. Furthermore, 156 schools will align with the CBSE curriculum, introducing Arts, Science, and Commerce streams.
