In a remarkable performance, Shubham Kumar from Delhi zone has emerged as the top scorer in the JEE-Advanced 2026, securing an impressive 330 out of 360 marks. Official announcements confirm that he topped the rigorous entrance exam for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
The results reveal a total of 56,880 successful aspirants, with 10,107 female candidates among them. Notably, Arohi Deshpande stood out as the top female candidate, achieving a notable 280 marks and securing an All India Rank of 77.
This year's examination saw 1,79,694 participants sitting the test from an initial 1,87,389 registered, with IIT zones like Madras, Bombay, and Delhi churning out a large number of qualifiers. As candidates accessed their results on the official JEE Advanced website, it marked a significant step in their academic journey.
