Renowned actor and film producer Ralph Fiennes has shared some valuable fashion tips for whoever steps into the role of Voldemort in the upcoming Harry Potter television series. In a recent interview with People, Fiennes humorously advised future Voldemorts to 'make sure you can handle the long, flowing robes, and don't trip over them,' suggesting that mastering the 'long, flowing robe walk' is essential.

Fiennes, who portrayed Voldemort over the course of five Harry Potter films starting with 2005's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, revealed a quirky wardrobe fact from his time as the dark wizard. While fresh off an Academy Awards campaign for 'Conclave' and set to appear in '28 Years Later', he mentioned that he had specific notes for the wardrobe department about his tights throughout the series.

Returning for the 20th anniversary TV special in 2022 alongside stars like Daniel Radcliffe, Fiennes expressed his openness to reprise his iconic role, although he endorsed Cillian Murphy as a 'wonderful suggestion' for the part in the new series. The actors for the main trio in the HBO adaptation have been announced: Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, Alastair Stout as Ron, and Arabella Stanton as Hermione.
