In Southwark Crown Court, Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown entered a not guilty plea on Friday regarding charges that he assaulted a music producer in a London nightclub incident earlier this year.

The 36-year-old musician faces a grievous bodily harm charge for allegedly attacking producer Abe Diaw with a bottle in February at the Tape nightclub, a popular venue in the Mayfair area.

Prosecutors claim the assault, in which Brown was joined by fellow musician Omololu Akinlolu, also known as 'Hoody Baby,' was unprovoked and occurred in a crowded club, all of which was captured by surveillance footage.
