The memoir provides a compelling narrative of the 1975-1977 Emergency in India, focusing on the courageous and resilient actions of a 25-year-old RSS Pracharak who operated in disguise, distributed banned literature, and supported families of jailed activists.
Moyong called the memoir essential reading for appreciating the value of freedom and the need to uphold democratic ideals, with programme convenor Tarh Tarak and several other state BJP officials also in attendance.
