In a move to promote indigenous products, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched the 'Akanksha Haat Abhiyan.' The campaign, set to last a week, aims to boost the market presence of products crafted in the state's underdeveloped regions.

This initiative is a part of the broader Aspirational District and Block Programme, focusing on spearheading socio-economic development by improving sectors like health, education, and agriculture. Efforts are being intensified, extending from district levels down to individual blocks, Majhi emphasized.

Majhi announced that the availability of locally crafted products would increase, benefiting local self-help groups, farmers, artisans, and weavers by providing more affordable and fair prices. Additionally, these products will also feature in digital marketplaces, enhancing their accessibility.
