In a peculiar incident, a cow stranded on the fourth floor of a building near Manju Tandon dhaal in Ali Colony was safely brought down by local authorities on Monday. Residents, fearing the animal might fall, promptly alerted local corporator Gulshan Abbas Rizvi, who then contacted the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) for assistance.
The unusual sight of a full-grown cow high above ground level caused quite a stir among the locals. Responding swiftly, the LMC, under the expertise of Animal Welfare Officer Dr. Abhinav Verma, dispatched a skilled cattle-catching squad. The team successfully ensured that the cow was brought down without causing panic or accidents.
The rescued cow was subsequently transferred to a gaushala managed by the municipal body. Dr. Verma emphasized the LMC's commitment to responding promptly to such incidents, focusing on maintaining the safety and welfare of animals in distress.
