Global Gathering: Ayyappa Devotees to Congregate at Sabarimala

This historic meet aims to unite devotees worldwide and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Board, promoting universal humanity and Sabarimala as a global pilgrimage center.

In a landmark event, the Kerala government is preparing to host a global gathering of Ayyappa devotees at Sabarimala, scheduled for September. State Devasom Minister V N Vasavan announced on Thursday that this one-day meet would be organized in conjunction with the Travancore Devaswom Board.
Taking place in the third week of September, the event aims to unite Ayyappa devotees from across the globe as part of the 75th-anniversary celebrations of the Board. This initiative seeks to promote the message of universal humanity, known as 'Tatvamasi' and establish Sabarimala as a worldwide revered pilgrimage site.
With an anticipated attendance of 3,000 delegates, the event is poised to serve as the precursor to more extensive gatherings in the future. Facilities, including a German-style pavilion to seat participants, will be in place, and attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Lord Ayyappa shrine.
