Shibu Soren: The Tribal Icon's Legacy

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh likened the late Shibu Soren to the legendary Birsa Munda, highlighting his life's dedication to tribal welfare. This statement came as notable personalities gathered in Nemra for Soren's 'shraddh' rituals.

The event attracted key figures, including Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who praised his father's lasting influence on Jharkhand and its people. Soren's political journey, marked by his advocacy for tribal rights, played a crucial role in the creation of Jharkhand. The commemoration included a memorial gallery showcasing his contributions.

Ensuring public safety amid the large gathering, authorities deployed over 2,500 police personnel and set up extensive arrangements. Attendees were treated to traditional meals, and a special exhibition on Soren's political career emphasized his grassroots activism and impact on regional politics.
