Chariot Tragedy Mars Janmashtami Celebrations

In a tragic turn of events during Janmashtami celebrations, five people lost their lives, and four others were injured in Ramanthapur when a chariot procession vehicle came into contact with overhead electric wires.

The accident happened early Monday morning when the vehicle carrying the deity's chariot struck the electric wires, causing them to snap and fall onto the vehicle.

The injured were immediately taken to a local hospital, where they are receiving treatment. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the tragedy.
