Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi is set to come alive with festivities on 'Yatri Seva Diwas' this September 17. Under the direction of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, a series of engaging events have been lined up for passengers, including traditional folk dances and a ceremonial welcome with rose buds and tilak.
The airport is emphasizing environmental and community initiatives by planting 25 saplings to promote conservation. Concurrently, a blood donation and a health check-up camp will be open around 10:30 am, encouraging participation from airport staff and the community.
Educational activities are also on the agenda with a focus on students. An airport familiarisation programme and a session exploring career options in the civil aviation sector will be held, alongside a quiz and painting competition to engage young minds.
