Bollywood Tributes: Celebrating Shabana Azmi at 75

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi celebrated her 75th birthday with heartfelt tributes from Bollywood peers Urmila Matondkar, Divya Dutta, and Tannishtha Chatterjee. On Thursday, these actors took to social media to extend their best wishes for the accomplished star.

Matondkar shared nostalgic photos on Instagram with Azmi, highlighting a scene from their collaboration in the 1983 film 'Masoom'. "Year 1983… location Janki Kutir. Tiny, anxious and nervous me [saw] the great Shabana Azmi for the 'Masoom' photo shoot and thereafter it's been an exceptional bond of love, respect, admiration, learning, laughters, madness and much more," she recalled.

Meanwhile, Dutta posted a heartfelt video tribute featuring the song "Do Naina Aur Ek Kahani." Expressing deep admiration, she called Azmi "something special" and expressed her unwavering respect.
