Prime Minister Modi Inaugurates Revamped Tripureswari Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Agartala, Tripura, on Monday to inaugurate the newly redeveloped Tripureswari temple located in Gomati district. The temple, steeped in history and spirituality, underwent a significant transformation under the government's PRASAD scheme.

Following his arrival at the airport, Modi traveled to Palatana in Udaipur via helicopter, where he proceeded by road to the temple site. This venture forms part of a broader initiative to revitalize spiritual sites across India.

Constructed over 500 years ago, the temple is one of the revered 51 'Shakti Peethas'. Its redevelopment cost stands at Rs 52 crore and symbolizes cultural rejuvenation. Post-inauguration, Modi is set to offer prayers at the historic shrine, enhancing its significance as a cultural and spiritual landmark.
