In a post on social media platform X, Banerjee quoted a touching line from her creation, 'Ek mutho phool dao na go Ma,' which translates to 'Give me a handful of flowers, Mother.' She extended her warmest wishes to everyone for the occasion.

A known contributor to the musical tributes surrounding Durga Puja, Banerjee also posted a video of the song, which was sung by Jeet Ganguli this year, showcasing her artistic involvement beyond politics.
