Addressing attendees at the Rashmirathi Festival in Lucknow, he highlighted the importance of safeguarding freedom and achieving a Developed and Self-Reliant India.
The festival, marking poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar's 52nd death anniversary, celebrated his influential work 'Rashmirathi.' Adityanath drew parallels between historical and present threats to democracy, citing Dinkar's powerful words during the Emergency as a reminder of the need for national vigilance.
Among the festival's highlights was a performance of 'Rashmirathi,' which Adityanath praised. He instructed the Culture Department to ensure broader public access to such works. Notable attendees included Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, former union ministers, and Dinkar's family members, all underscoring Dinkar's enduring cultural legacy.
