In response to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan after Operation Sindoor, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta issued a stern warning to the neighboring nation on Thursday. She underscored India's commitment to combating cross-border terrorism and cautioned that further provocations could lead to significant military responses from India.

Chief Minister Gupta, addressing the media, remarked on Pakistan's alleged involvement in sustained terrorism within India, emphasizing the nation's and armed forces' readiness to counter such threats. She asserted, "If Pakistan continues its current course, our military might take even more significant actions," stressing national unity and preparedness among India's 140 crore citizens.

Simultaneously, an all-party session, convened by the central government, took place at Parliament's Annexe building to deliberate on Operation Sindoor. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh briefed political leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and opposition figures like Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, on India's stance against cross-border terrorism.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju noted the necessity of updating all political factions about the government's decisive actions and the Indian Armed Forces' role. The operation, executed by Indian forces, involved coordinated strikes on nine terror sites situated in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir. These efforts targeted key operatives from Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) involved in orchestrating attacks on Indian territory.
