In a bold military maneuver, India's Operation Sindoor successfully destroyed nine terror locations deep within Pakistan, triggering a hasty military response from the Pakistani side. On the night of May 7, Pakistan targeted several military installations in northern and western India, including key locations like Amritsar and Srinagar, using drones and missiles. However, all these attempts were effectively countered by India's advanced Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems.
The Indian Air Force's S-400 Sudarshan Chakra missile systems were instrumental in neutralizing these threats. Debris recovered from various locations confirmed the nature of the Pakistani attacks. While an official government statement is awaited, domain experts shared with ANI that the Indian response was equally potent, leading to the neutralization of air defense systems in Lahore.
In retaliation, Indian forces deployed Harpy drones, renowned for targeting radar and enemy air defenses. These drones are fitted with high-explosive warheads capable of autonomously locating and neutralizing high-value targets even in adverse conditions. Over 100 terrorists were reportedly eliminated in the precision strikes, further exacerbating border tensions, resulting in the tragic loss of 16 innocent lives due to unprovoked Pakistani firing.
