Amid escalating tensions and multiple ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC), authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have been proactive in relocating villagers from forward areas to safer locations. These residents are now housed in specially set-up camps equipped with essential facilities like food, water, infant milk, and medical aid to ensure their well-being.
Villagers, grateful for the government's prompt action, have expressed relief at the security and amenities provided. Nisha Sharma, one of those relocated, shared her story: 'We came from border villages due to the escalating tensions. The government has set up a camp for us, providing everything from food to essential supplies. We hope for a quick return to normality.'
Despite most villagers being evacuated, some remain near the LoC. Tasrim Lal criticized Pakistan's tactics while acknowledging a decrease in their activities since India's precision strikes. Meanwhile, Indian forces have responded to continued hostilities with calculated military actions against key targets, ensuring the safety of civilians during these challenging times.
