In a dramatic escalation of hostilities, India and Pakistan have engaged in a series of military exchanges that have drawn international attention. According to defense sources, Pakistan fired a total of eight missiles at various locations including Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, and Arnia. These were intercepted by Indian air defense units.

Similar to tactics used by Hamas against Israel, this latest action by the Pakistan Army has raised alarms. Notably, a meeting was reported between Pakistan's ISI and the militant group Hamas in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir last month, further inflaming tensions.

Reacting swiftly, Indian defense forces have taken strategic countermeasures, targeting Pakistani military infrastructures without escalating to civilian areas. The Indian government has communicated these actions were measured responses to earlier Pakistani provocations and have emphasized their commitment to avoiding further escalations unless provoked.
