Call for Peace Amid Rising India-Pakistan Tensions

Senator Jim Risch, Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has expressed concern over the escalating tension between India and Pakistan, while lending his support to India's efforts in bringing the Pahalgam attackers to justice.

This stance comes in the wake of India's targeted military operations, which resulted in the destruction of terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Risch highlighted the need for caution and civilian safety on both sides. Meanwhile, Congressman Shri Thanedar firmly supported India's right to defend its citizens, underlining the importance of US-India cooperation in combating terrorism and upholding democratic principles.
