Tensions between India and Pakistan have soared following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, with the Pakistani Airports Authority temporarily halting flight operations in Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot. This decision, reported by Aaj News, affects all flights in and out of these cities until noon on Thursday.

The flight suspensions come amid reports that India conducted precision military strikes against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) in retaliation for the attack that resulted in 26 fatalities and multiple injuries. The Indian Armed Forces have disclosed details of 'Operation Sindoor,' which aimed to dismantle the infrastructure of groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

During a press briefing in Delhi, senior military officials elaborated on the mission, which targeted nine terrorist camps, with four located in Pakistan proper and five in PoJK. Officials noted the strikes were carefully coordinated to avoid military installations and civilian casualties, focusing instead on eliminating recruitment and indoctrination centers.
