Russian Combat Drones Take Center Stage in Red Square Parade
Russia showcased its combat drones, such as the Orlan and Lancet series, in a military parade attended by President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. These drones have been pivotal in Russia's military operations in Ukraine, targeting military assets and infrastructure.

In an unprecedented event, Russia on Friday displayed its combat drones at Moscow's Red Square. The showcase, which was broadcasted live by state TV, is said to be a first.
The parade was attended by President Vladimir Putin alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping and other foreign dignitaries. Various Russian-made drones mounted on trucks were driven across the square, symbolizing their significant role in what Moscow describes as a 'special military operation' in Ukraine.
The showcased drones included the Lancet, Geran-2, Orlan-10, and Orlan-30, each having distinct roles ranging from reconnaissance to kamikaze missions. Meanwhile, Ukraine's own advancements in drone technology have proved effective against Russian forces.
