Germany, in collaboration with its European allies, has expressed openness to engage in further discussions with Iran, contingent upon Tehran's genuine commitment to providing assurances on its nuclear and missile initiatives, as stated by Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on Friday.
Wadephul emphasized that the UK, France, and the EU High Representative remain prepared to engage in dialogues, with the requirement that Iran demonstrates serious intent to cease any nuclear material enrichment that could lead to weaponization.
Additionally, Iran's missile program must be on the negotiation table. Such earnest willingness from Iran would be reciprocated by Germany and its partners through readiness to pursue further talks, he added.
