Britain's grocery regulator has initiated an investigation into Amazon, assessing whether the retail giant has breached rules regarding the timely payment of suppliers.

The Groceries Code Adjudicator announced that it suspects Amazon may have violated paragraph 5 of the Groceries Supply Code of Practice. This specific regulation mandates prompt supplier payments.
