Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta joined students and boat club members for International Yoga Day celebrations along the Yamuna River on Saturday, part of a nationwide initiative to promote Yoga. Gupta highlighted ongoing efforts to clean the Yamuna, criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party for its neglect of the river's condition.

Gupta took a swipe at AAP's Arvind Kejriwal, humorously noting his association of Yoga with PM Narendra Modi. She suggested that if Kejriwal sees Modi's face in Yoga, he might equate other activities similarly, like associating food with political figures.

Images from the event showed students practicing Yoga on platforms and boats on the Yamuna. Key figures like Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari attended. The 11th International Day of Yoga underscores unity and health with over 300,000 participants globally, including PM Modi.
