Prashant Kumar, the former DGP of Uttar Pradesh, embarked on a spiritual journey last Sunday, visiting the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He participated in the revered Bhasma Aarti, a ritual known for its solemnity and grace, describing the experience as 'divine'.

In a conversation with ANI, Kumar expressed his prayers for global peace, highlighting the significance of attending both the Bhasma and Sandhya Aartis. His presence at the event coincided with that of Indian mountaineer Santosh Yadav, famous for her Everest expeditions.

The Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple holds a distinguished status as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India, boasting a profound historical backdrop. The temple's Bhasma Aarti, performed in the auspicious Brahma Muhurta, is a spiritual spectacle, drawing devotees nationwide.
