In a decisive move against cross-border smuggling, Border Security Force (BSF) troops, in collaboration with Punjab Police, recovered two drones and packets of heroin at the Punjab border. A press release detailed the operation, underscoring the success of information provided by the BSF's intelligence wing.
On June 30, BSF troops, acting on reliable intelligence, discovered a DJI Air 3 drone and a heroin packet weighing 460 grams in a farming field near Chak Bazida village in Fazilka district. "These recoveries highlight the unwavering commitment of BSF in curbing Pakistani smuggling networks," stated the BSF PRO.
Additionally, efforts led to the seizure of a country-made firearm in Gurdaspur and heroin in Amritsar, with coordinated action by the Anti-Narcotic Task Force and local police. Intelligence-driven operations apprehended five individuals, demonstrating effective anti-smuggling measures at the border.
