In a display of unwavering devotion, hundreds of pilgrims embarked on the sacred Amarnath Yatra 2025, chanting bhajans and performing Lord Shiva's Aarti upon reaching the Holy Cave. The first batch set out from the Baltal base camp, with Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje among the participants, expressing her exhilaration for the spiritual endeavor.

Despite prevailing concerns, pilgrims showed fearlessness as they journeyed toward Baba Amarnath from the Pahalgam base camp. They lauded the exceptional facilities provided, attributing their peace of mind to the arrangements by the Amarnath Shrine Board. Participants emphasized their resolve to complete the pilgrimage unfazed by terrorism threats.

The endeavor transcends religious bounds, with participation from diverse faiths. Officials, including Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, articulated the Yatra's significance, highlighting its humanitarian component along with prayers for national peace and prosperity. Medical Officer Dr. Divya Sharma stressed the inclusive nature of the Yatra, underscoring the collective hope for a safe and fulfilling journey for all.
