Operation Mahadev Triumphs: Indian Army Neutralizes Pahalgam Terrorists

Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, serving as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, recently visited the Dachigam area in Kashmir to commend troops for their exemplary performance during Operation Mahadev. The operation, conducted on July 28 in Lidwas, resulted in the neutralization of three hardcore terrorists.
In a fierce firefight near the iconic Dachigam National Park, security forces successfully eliminated three terrorists involved in civilian attacks. The Indian Army's Chinar Corps confirmed that Operation Mahadev unfolded in the Lidwas area, with support from the Central Reserve Police Force and J&K Police.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing the Lok Sabha, confirmed the elimination of the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam terror attack. He highlighted the joint efforts in Operation Mahadev, which brought relief and gratitude from the victims' families, including plaudits from Syeed Sabzar Shah, cousin of a deceased victim.
Syeed Sabzar Shah praised the valiant efforts of his cousin, Adil Hussain, who showcased remarkable bravery during the attack, saving lives without regard to religious distinctions. Expressing gratitude to the Indian Army, Shah emphasized their relentless pursuit of justice and the successful avengement of the brutal attack.
