Jammu and Kashmir Unveils State-of-the-Art Cold Store and Ripening Centre

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated a cutting-edge Cold Store and Ripening Centre in Jammu on Monday, aimed at benefiting traders of perishable goods. The facility is expected to significantly aid merchants dealing in fruits and FMCG products requiring controlled atmosphere storage and artificial ripening technologies.

During the inauguration, CM Abdullah highlighted the center's role in supporting local economy by providing assets accessible to a broad range of people. This initiative forms part of a broader government strategy to stimulate economic development within the region.
