Rescue operations continue apace at the site of the Uttarkashi cloudburst, with teams from ITBP, SDRF, NDRF, and BRO involved in the ongoing efforts. Around 150 individuals have been safely evacuated as officials work tirelessly to mitigate disaster impact.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spearheaded an emergency meeting at the State Emergency Operations Centre to evaluate the situation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Dhami to discuss the natural disaster, expressing his concern and pledging central support for relief measures.

Despite significant challenges posed by relentless rain, Chief Minister Dhami assured the Prime Minister of the state's preparedness in dealing with the crisis. Dhami also visited key sites, such as the Joshiyada helipad, to conduct aerial inspections of the affected areas. State and central agencies are steadfast in their efforts to provide prompt assistance.
