In an urgent move to address farmers' needs, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai directed state officials to accelerate the completion of irrigation projects. During a Water Resources Department review at Mahanadi Bhavan, the CM emphasized the importance of wrapping up projects pending since before 2015.

Noting that delays in irrigation efforts compromise the state's agricultural productivity, Sai stressed the necessity of finishing these projects to provide farmers with the full benefits of government welfare schemes. He highlighted that enhancing irrigation infrastructure would not only increase farming efficiency but also elevate the economic standards of the cultivators.

Water Resources Secretary Rajesh Sukumar Toppo, supported by Water Resources Minister Kedar Kashyap and other senior officials, provided an update on ongoing projects. They emphasized the critical role these developments play in ensuring farmers have sufficient water supply, boosting both output and income.
