Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have successfully dismantled a terrorist hideout nestled in the Gogaldara-Danwas forest of Baramulla, seizing a cache of arms and medical supplies, including a grenade, pistol, and ammunition. A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged at the Tangmarg Police Station as investigations proceed.

Simultaneously, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, commanding officer of the Northern Command, assessed the counter-terrorism measures in South Kashmir. His visit, focusing on security posture and operational readiness, underscored the army's commitment to maintaining stability in the volatile region.

In Punjab, the Anti-Gangster Task Force, in collaboration with local police, intercepted a plot by Babbar Khalsa International operatives. Acting on intelligence about an explosive consignment from Pakistan, they successfully recovered an IED before it reached its intended target. This marks a significant step in countering cross-border terrorism.
