Amid escalating tensions, members of the INDIA bloc staged a demonstration in the Parliament premises, opposing the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. Holding banners decrying 'silent invisible rigging,' they accused authorities of 'vote theft,' marking the Monsoon Session with mounting unrest.

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the Election Commission of India for not releasing the voter list, highlighting the importance of each voter in the Vidhan Sabha elections. 'If nearly 1 lakh voters are removed, it can significantly impact election outcomes,' she asserted while questioning the necessity of affidavits for alleged errors.

In response, the Election Commission reiterated that no claims or objections have been filed since the draft electoral rolls were published, vowing to ensure the integrity of the voting list. The tension in Lok Sabha was punctuated with silent homage for the late former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik.

Congress leader Hibi Eden filed a notice for an adjournment motion to address an alleged attack by Bajrang Dal members on Catholic clergy in Odisha. Concurrently, sports governance took center stage as amendments to the National Anti-Doping Act were tabled for legislative consideration.
