Weather improvements and clear roads facilitated smoother operations on the third day, with collaborative efforts from the army and various disaster relief teams including NDRF, CISF, SDRF, and BRO. As of recent reports, six bodies were recovered with plans for a Bailey bridge to boost relief efforts.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah confirmed the retrieval of 55 bodies and emphasized continued prioritization of rescue, relief, and rehabilitation. Financial aid has been announced for the victims, alongside commitments to assist families in rebuilding their homes. The government remains vigilant in its mission to mitigate the disaster's impact.
