Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini recently inaugurated the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohaematology (ISBTI) at TRANSCON 2025. Saini commended ISBTI for its pivotal role in the healthcare sector, particularly in blood transfusion and immunohematology.
The event, which also welcomed Cabinet Minister Arvind Sharma, marks Haryana's honor in hosting the Golden Jubilee Conference. Celebrated as a symbol of dedication, ISBTI's history of service spanning five decades has significantly impacted countless lives, aiming to set new pathways for innovation in the healthcare arena.
Chief Minister Saini further highlighted ISBTI's mission of enhancing blood bank quality and promoting voluntary blood donation. He called for advancements in blood testing and matching, and noted TRANSCON 2025's eco-friendly initiatives. Haryana's efforts include 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' alongside its functional blood centers, targeting 3.3 lakh blood units collection this year.
