In Raipur, the police marked Vijayadashmi with a 'Shashtra Pooja,' a ceremonial event where weapons and Goddess Kali were worshipped, led by Superintendent of Police Dr Lal Umed Singh. The event highlighted newly allocated vehicles for the Raipur force and laid out security plans for the Ravan Dahan.

The 1055 Artillery Regiment of the Border Security Force, stationed in Jaisalmer, also participated in a 'Shashtra Pooja.' Officials honored their weapons used in Operation Sindoor, underscoring the BSF's proficiency in modern anti-drone technology, which Inspector General ML Garg termed crucial to their success.

Simultaneously, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to extend his warm wishes on Vijayadashmi, hailing it as a celebration of the triumph of virtue over vice. The festival, symbolizing the victories of Lord Rama and Goddess Durga, saw citizens nationwide partake in the ritualistic cleaning and worship of weapons.
