Political Sparring: BJP's Trivedi Criticizes Rahul Gandhi's Democracy Claims

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sudhanshu Trivedi has sharply criticized Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, following Gandhi's assertion that Indian democracy is under threat. During a press conference, Trivedi questioned the democratic credentials of Gandhi, describing him as the head of a family that perpetuated a 'monarchy in Congress' under the guise of democracy.

Trivedi's remarks come after Gandhi, during an interaction at EIA University in Colombia, accused the BJP-led central government of launching a 'wholesale attack on Indian democracy.' Trivedi labeled these comments as predictable, citing Gandhi's habit of making such statements on foreign soil, reflecting what he sees as panic over Congress's declining influence.

Further escalating the political rhetoric, Trivedi criticized the INDIA bloc parties for their anti-Modi stance, arguing it blinds them from recognizing the country's achievements. Meanwhile, Gandhi continued his critique at the EIA University event, asserting that the RSS-BJP ideology lacks courage and poses a threat to India's diverse traditions and democratic structure.
