Europe's Interior Ministers to Tackle Drone Threats

Germany's Interior Minister, Alexander Dobrindt, declared intentions to bring the issue of anti-drone defences to the forefront during a meeting of European interior ministers initially set for migration discussions.

The announcement followed a drone sighting that caused a temporary shutdown of Munich airport, highlighting the urgent need for improved drone defences.

Dobrindt stated that the upcoming Munich meeting would now also address the challenges and threats posed by drones, emphasizing the importance of further research in this field.
